Ogawa Futaba
restaurant

At Kappo Ryokan Futaba, we offer our specialty kaiseki ryori, “Chuushichi Meshi.” One of the top 5 famous Japanese rice dishes, Chuushichi Meshi was born from an encounter with Yamaoka Tesshū, who was instrumental in the historic “Fall of Edo.” This dish is topped with our signature sauce and eaten in the same manner as ochazuke (rice with green tea). It has been chosen as one of the top 5 famous Japanese rice dishes, alongside classic dishes like Fukagawa Meshi from Tokyo and Kayaku Meshi from Osaka. Please enjoy this traditional dish made from fresh seasonal ingredients and prepared with care by our expert chefs.
