Located at the east exit of Kasukabe Station, Kasukabe Information Center "Puratto Kasukabe" is a facility where you can get information about all of Kasukabe City's attractions, from specialty products to sightseeing spots and events. It is a popular relaxation spot that anyone can casually drop by. Apart from introducing information on local tourism spots and specialties, they sell foods certified under the city’s "Food Selection" program. In addition to having display panels on Crayon Shin-chan - the anime character that represents Kasukabe City - which include reproductions of the original manga artwork, you can also get a commemorative visitor stamp. The facility also provides bicycle rentals, making it convenient as a base for Kasukabe sightseeing. Please feel free to stop by!

We are conveniently located inside Kawagoe Station and can be used as a base for strolling around Kawagoe, with the Edo-style Kurazukuri Warehouse Street just a 15 minute walk away. Eight of the total sixty-one kilometers of the Motoara River run through the Fukiage area. There are seventeen bridges on the river, including the Shinsaga Bridge, a Civil Engineering Heritage Site selected by the Japan Society of Civil Engineers. Many of the bridges are decorated with poems and sculptures, making exploring them a perfect activity for some leisurely sightseeing!

We are the closest visitor information center to Koedo Kawagoe and the Kurazukuri townscape. In addition, we offer wheelchair rental and baggage storage services (payment required).

The Border of Three Prefectures (Junction of Tochigi, Gunma and Saitama Prefectures)

The Border of Three Prefectures straddles Tochigi Prefecture’s Tochigi City, Gunma Prefecture’s Itakura Town, Saitama Prefecture’s Kazo City (around the Kitakawabe region), and comes together at a rice field approximately 500 meters to the southeast of Roadside Station Kitakawabe. The Border of Three Prefectures was located inside the Watarase River, however during the restoration of the river during the Meiji and Taishō periods, the location was changed to the current river channel. From January to March of 2016, land measurements were carried out by Tochigi City, Itakura Town, and Kazo City and an old stake made from concrete, assumed to be installed prior, was discovered and confirmed as the true point of intersection of the three prefectures.

Reopened in April 2021 as a tourism and souvenir center! This store has a modern Japanese atmosphere that stays true to Gyoda City, which has been recognized as a Japanese Heritage site. There are a wide range of 150 different types of products available for sale from around 50 brands, including local goods such as fashionably designed tabi (split-toed socks), Minamikawara slippers made of colorful fabrics from Africa and other foreign countries, "Gyoda no gyoza" (dumplings) made from local flour, Narazuke pickles, Jumangoku Manju (steamed bun), Wataboku Milk, and more. So can also rent bicycles here, so be sure to stop by on your way to sightseeing.

This tourist information center is located on the second floor of the station building adjacent to Higashi-Matsuyama Station. Here you can find pamphlets on sightseeing spots and city events, walking maps, and more. City mascot character goods and other local specialty goods are also available for purchase. A pamphlet rack is located in front of the ticket gates of Higashi-Matsuyama Station, allowing you to easily grab what you need on your way to the train.

This roadside station is surrounded by rich green mountains, the clear streams of the Yokose River, clean air, and seasonal flowers and fruit trees. Inside the station, there is a farmers' market, restaurant, information center, resting area, hands-on experience dōjō (udon/soba), ceramics classroom and a gallery. Outside, there is an open space for relaxing and a deck where one can view the river from above. This roadside station, with a play tower designed to resemble a strawberry castle, is easy for families to stop by. Goods such as fresh dorayaki made from Yoshimi grown strawberries are available for purchase. It is also a popular place to take a break and enjoy a delicious soft-serve ice cream.

Located immediately next to the Ogose Station West Exit, this facility is used by many as a rest spot and meeting place, as a rendezvous point for hiking and to purchase souvenirs and light meals (rice balls, pizza, coffee, juice). There is also a free shuttle bus to SPA O Park OGOSE that departs from in front of the facility.

This facility is a center for socializing and tourism established in the early Meiji period merchant's inn, "Chichibu-Kan," which was renovated in a way to preserve its original appearance. The first floor is a free rest space with a large irori (sunken hearth) surrounded by rental boxes where citizens can display and sell their handicrafts and ceramics. This single-floor wooden house, built using the 'Sukiya' architectural style, has been praised and written about by the Japanese literature researcher Donald Keene. The facility now serves as a place to introduce the Sōka area's culture of tea ceremony, flower arrangement, and classical instruments such as koto and shamisen. Furthermore, the facility is also open as a resting area where visitors can enjoy a cup of tea for a small fee.

There are many exhibits that tell the history of Konosu Town as well as hina dolls and akamono dolls, a warehouse built in the Meiji period (designated as an important building of Saitama Prefecture's landscape), and a stage decorated with mosaic art. Imo Kaido – Sweet Potato Road

This road is lined with farm houses responsible for producing Miyoshi-machi’s specialty sweet potato “Fuji no Kawagoe Imo." When in season in September through January, the farmers raising their banners in unison to signify that many sweet potato varieties are now available for purchase is a sight unique to this area. There are also farmers selling ice cream, yōkan (gelled red bean wagashi) and shōchū made from Fuji no Kawagoe Imo. The large Japanese elm trees on either side of the road are another popular attraction.

Located at the Yoshikawa Station North Exit on the JR Musashino Line, Rappi-Land offers many goods and souvenirs pertaining to Yoshikawa City, the home of the catfish. There is a wide variety of Japanese sweets such as manjyu, dorayaki, monaka, senbei, and even locally produced cola. You will even be greeted by a real catfish! The shop also serves as a tourist information center, so please stop by when you come to Yoshikawa.

Sōkashuku Basho-an
Sōkashuku Basho-an

This old rest facility made from local cedar and cypress wood was renovated and reopened on May 16th, 2018 as "Oyasumi Dokoro" (the rest spot). They sell local products such as Sōka Senbei (rice crackers) and provide plenty of tourist information, making it a great starting place for any traveler in the area.
