Tsurugashimashi Sports Park is known for its plentiful greenery and consideration of the natural ecosystem. It has a wooded area that utilizes the area's natural forest, a waterfront area centered on the Ootagaya marsh, and a variety of exercise facilities centered on the main ground. This sports park can be easily used by people of all ages, from children to the elderly. The park also serves as a tourist center for the city, being the venue for the Tsurugashima Cherry Blossom Festival in the spring and the Tsurugashima Industrial Festival in the fall.

With the bath being close to the source, the water gushing out from the source 2,000 meters below is used. The hot water containing rich sodium wraps the body, warming up the body to its core. The thermal effects are taken advantage of from the sodium, making it known as“Atatamari-no-yu (hot water for warmth)”. In addition, the concentration of the hydrogen ion is a pH of 8.1. The hot water with weak alkalinity is soft, and is good at making the surface layers of one’s skin soft, hence, making it known as “Bihada-no-yu (hot water for beautiful skin)”. Please enjoy the best bath from the source of Kachōfūgetsu. Within the vast interior of the facility, there is a beauty salon, a massage parlor, a refreshing oxygen room, and facilities other than the hot spring that brings healing qualities. Established in 1946, with our slogan being “from the farm to the dining table”, we utilize pigs that have been raised on our farm to create and sell secure, safe, and tasty ham and sausage. The largest Taiwanese Shinto shrine in Japan. The gorgeous structure is worth seeing. The spiral ceiling assembled without any nails, the Kowloon stone pillar of 5 meters, a door of 4 meters with wood carvings of the god of military arts, and a coffered ceiling with dragons. Taiwan’s authentic worship and fortune slip can be experienced here.

The Sakado City History Folk Museum is part of the commemoration project operated under the municipal system with the purpose of contributing to the development of education, learning, and culture and was opened in October 1980. The building is a removed, reconstructed, and repaired part of the old Suguro Elementary School Building and inside the building, there are archaeological records unearthed from the remains found in the city as well as folk materials gathered from each region on display. The multiple articles for everyday use on display are the witnesses of history, conveying the lifestyle people had at the time and articulates the wisdom that local predecessors gathered. They are tools that people cherished and used over a long period of time. In addition, archaeological records such as the human clay figures unearthed from Kitamine Kofun group as well as tiles from the abandoned ancient temple, Katsuro, are data that represent Sakado city. At the museum, these materials are permanently exhibited with planned exhibitions of the articles for everyday use.

The large purple noren (shop curtain with its emblem and name) by the entrance of the Kawagoe Kashiya Yokochō (Candy Alley) marks the location of this candy store. A wide variety of sweets including, kura manjū (Japanese-style bun stuffed with sweetened bean paste), sweet potato yōkan (sweetened bean jelly), potato sweets, and rice crackers produced at the store are sold.
