Indulge in the vast expanse of Sayama Tea fields surrounding you in every direction with a private charter! Relish a hands-free picnic experience like no other!
This package offers a special sencha (green tea) gelato treat made by our teahouse for couples. It is a private one and half hour experience. You may bring your own snacks and drinks if you like. Afterward, you’ll receive two types of tea and a tea canister as a souvenir when you leave.
We have arranged for onigiri rice ball box lunches, otherwise known as bento, that have been carefully prepared for you by the restaurant Chadokoro Issen, to enjoy out on the terrace. We hope you will enjoy your bento made using Sayama tea and other fresh local ingredients. The bentos are also wrapped with special Japanese handkerchiefs dyed in Sayama tea, for everyone to take home as souvenirs.
This package includes a local guide and a private taxi from Irumashi Station, making it convenient and worry-free for visitors from overseas. When it’s time to head back, you have the choice of returning to either Irumashi Station or Mitsui Outlet Park Iruma, allowing you to enjoy some shopping at the MITSUI OUTLET PARK IRUMA if you wish.
In the case of rain, the event will be canceled, and we’ll notify you one day prior. Please be aware that there may also be dates excluded due to tea plantation circumstances. Feel free to inquire beforehand.
【Notes】
・The area around the terrace is farmland where Sayama tea is grown, and it’s private property. Please refrain from entering adjacent areas.
・As this is an outdoor service, please wear clothing and shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
・The terrace is a no-shoes area. Please remove your shoes at the bottom of the stairs when using the terrace.
・The service is not barrier-free due to the service being provided on farmland and farm roads.
・There is no private restrooms at the terrace or in the terrace area. (We recommend that you stop by the restroom at the “Tea House Issen.”)

This plan highlights Sayama tea, one of Japan's top three tea brands, celebrated for its exquisite flavor. What makes this experience truly exceptional is the opportunity to savor "single-origin" Japanese tea, cultivated and processed on the owner's tea farm. Your journey will be guided by the tea shop owner, starting from the tea farm and continuing to the processing factory. For lunch, relish a delightful meal at the "Chadokoro Issen" restaurant near the Iruma City Museum ‘ALIT’ – Tea Museum, where you will savor exquisite Sayama Tea Cuisine. Afterward, explore the Tea Museum to complete your comprehensive immersion into the world of tea. This tour is conveniently located about one hour away from Tokyo Station and 30 minutes from Ikebukuro Station by train. It includes a local guide, private transportation from Irumashi Station, and a delectable lunch, ensuring that international visitors may participate with ease and peace of mind. Schedule - 10:30 AM: Meet up at Irumashi Station (an English-speaking guide will welcome you), and drive along a road through tea plantations; 11:00 AM: Arrive at the Tea Shop, Tea Farm and Factory Tour / Sayama Tea Seminar/Toucha (Fighting Tea) Experience / Shopping, receive a drinking comparison set as a souvenir to take home, featuring five tea varieties; 12:00 PM: Lunch at the Chadokoro Issen restaurant, Menu : Sayama Tea Cuisine; after lunch, visit the Iruma City Museum ‘ALIT’ Tea Museum; 1:30 PM: Arrive at Irumashi Station to conclude the tour.
