The hot spring contains no sodium, classifying it as a "simple" alkaline hot spring, a rarity in the Kanto region. The color of the water is dark brown but sparkles gold when hit by sunlight. Soaking in the hot spring will make your skin smooth, and you are guaranteed to have a relaxing time.

Built on the ruins of Iwatsuki Castle, this park has lush natural trails with open spaces and is a popular place of relaxation for the local people. There is also a tennis court, baseball field, playground equipment, a picnic area with a fountain, a pond covered by a vermillion-lacquered zigzag bridge, and a vintage Tobu Railway Romancecar "Kinu No.1" on display in this enjoyable park for all ages! In the spring, the park is known for its 600 cherry blossom trees and the lively events it sponsors.

We offer tourist information and general information about the city. There is everything from displays of the original picture of “Crayon Shin-chan,” an animated character representing Kasukabe, to food for sale approved by the city’s “Food Selection." It is also registered as a “baby friendly station,” and families can use the station to change diapers and breastfeed here. Please feel free to stop by.

Kasukabe Hot Spring Yura no Sato
Kasukabe Hot Spring Yura no Sato

This hot spring water, which flows from 1,500 meters underground, scored a maximum score of 5 out of 6 categories during the Japan Natural Hot Spring Examining Authority inspection! With a composition similar to salty seawater, it is also called “Netsu no Yu” (high temperature bath) due to the amount of cold water required to cool it down. The fact that this hot spring can be enjoyed during the colder months without any added water is also an appeal. The high-concentration carbonated spring, which even garners the attention of the medical industry, can be enjoyed as well.
