Saitama Grand Hotel Honjo

Located in front of Kagohara Station, where the first and last train depart on the JR Takasaki Line, our hotel is very convenient in terms of transportation. There is a lava stone open-air bath overlooking the trains, a large indoor bath and a sauna with rock salt from the Himalayas! (Swapped during the weekends for women and men.) Each room has soundproof windows with multi-layer vacuum glass, a humidifier, and semi-double beds.

We have seven rooms prepared for you to relax in. Our monthly rotating kaiseki ryori cuisine is highly recommend. Located on 8,000 sq meter of nature-filled land in the middle of the Nagatoro Auto Campground. The glass art atelier "Sō" is also 5 minutes away by car.

We are located in Saitama Prefecture, Nagatoro-machi. Established in Taishō 4 (1915), we have walked alongside the history of Nagatoro’s tourism. All of the guest rooms face the garden and Arakawa river, and we are an inn that takes pride in our view of the nationally designated “Nagatoro Iwatadami.” At our inn, we offer a true Japanese atmosphere that can only be experienced at a Japanese inn (There is one western-style room). The basic package is a night including two traditional Kaiseki-style meals which center around seasonal ingredients from the mountain and river.

We serve Chichibu grown rice cooked in a kamado stove for you to enjoy alongside handmade cuisine made with a focus on local ingredients, and offer relaxing hot springs and a view of the Chichibu mountains which can be seen from all rooms.

Only an hour away from Tokyo, this natural hot spring resort is surrounded by the deep and quiet forest of the Saitama Musashi Kyūryō Hills, making it feel like a different world. Located close to Musashi Kyūryō National Government Park, it is perfect for those interested in a day trip to the hot spring, for day use, or for a party trip. There are also places to play ground golf and tennis, and a pool open in summer.
