Fantastic fatory tour

Central Area Learning Facilities/Factory
This is a unique factory tour facility where you can see, learn, and study the world of confectionery while having fun. Visitors can enjoy learning about chocolate, take a quiz tour, visit the museum zone where 1,500 "toys" are on display, and even make their own original confections (for a fee).

Pocky Street (Factory Tour)
Visitors can observe the manufacturing process of Pocky, from finishing to packaging. After the tour, you will feel more familiar with Pocky.

Pritz Street (Factory Tour)
Visitors can observe the manufacturing process of the pretzel. The production line, from mixing the ingredients to finishing and packaging, stretches 100 meters. After the tour, you will feel even more familiar with the brand.

After the tour, you can experience decorating “Giant Pocky”. You can add a message to the Pocky for your loved one and give it as a present to celebrate your anniversary or to your loved one. (Time required : 30 to 40 minutes).
– Separate participation fee is required. (500 yen per person).

After the shaved-ice season is over, the restaurant continues to offers Lunch Plates, incorporating its famous pickled onions, alongside its variety of healthy Curries and Sandwiches. *Normally reservations are not available, you may have to wait in line. If you do not want to wait in line, you may contact the Saitama Tourism Support Desk direcly, at 048-788-5336 to make a Reservation. Please note that the Saitama Support Desk may only make one reservation per day, so this one reservation is available to whomever calls in first each day. It is a first-come first-serve basis.

The Railway Museum opened in Omiya, Saitama City, on October 14, 2007 as the main project to commemorate the 20th anniversary of JR East. In July 2018, the new South Wing was opened and the permanent exhibits in the Main Wing were completely renewed. This renewal has transformed the museum into a museum that develops a rich story of people and railroads from a variety of perspectives by dividing the museum into five stations : rolling stock, history, work, science, and the future.
