The Museum of History and Folklore collects and stores documents related to Saitama’s history and folklore. Through conducting a comprehensive research investigation, the regional characteristic of Saitama is made visible and shared through exhibitions and online information. Saitama City Omiya Bonsai Art Museum

As a core facility for promoting the culture of bonsai, it is the world’s first public museum specializing in bonsai. In order to spread the culture of bonsai which is designated as Saitama’s traditional industry, not only bonsai, but bonki (vase), suiseki (rocks), paintings of bonsai can be enjoyed, making it a diverse exhibit. The railway museum opened on October 14th of 2007 in Saitama Ōmiya as part of Japan Railways (JR) Group’s 20th-anniversary commemorative project. The South Building was newly opened in July of 2018, with the permanent exhibition of the main building renewed extensively. Through this renewal, the inside of the building has been divided into stations of 5 categories: carriage, history, work, science, future, changing the museum to tell the rich story of the relationship of humans and railways from a unique and diverse perspective.

We sell over 450 types of souvenirs that represent Saitama. Other than the regular Sōka Sembei (rice cracker), Koedo Kawagoe Imo (sweet potato) sweets, Ajino Sayamacha, local brew, there are traditional crafts and goods featuring Saitama Prefecture’s mascot “Kobaton”; we sell many popular products unique to Saitama area.

This is a district park known for its stunning lawn of green grass and 18-hole golf course. In addition to the golf course, there is also a children's area, a multipurpose plaza, and a parkway that can be used for jogging and other activities. The park is a space where people from different generations can meet and enjoy spending a relaxing and healthy time together outdoors.

The Museum of Modern Art Saitama (MOMAS) opened in 1982 in the greenery rich Kitaurawa Park. From artistic masters from abroad such as Monet, Chagall, Picasso to modern Japanese artists, excellent art pieces are collected and displayed. In addition, special exhibitions with unique themes take place on demand; there are also many "good design" chairs that can be used freely. To further have visitors familiarize themselves with art, there are museum concerts, lectures, as well as workshops which both parents and kids can enjoy. There are also museum shops with selected art books and goods along with a restaurant where authentic Italian food can be tasted, making the museum a place for fun and comfort.
