From the top of the park's symbol, the 16-meter high "Yoshikawa Mount Fuji," you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city. On a clear day, you can see the Tokyo Sky Tree and, if you're lucky, even the real Mount Fuji! Most of the park is covered with a green lawn making the park feel spacious and open.
With the bath being close to the source, the water gushing out from the source 2,000 meters below is used. The hot water containing rich sodium wraps the body, warming up the body to its core. The thermal effects are taken advantage of from the sodium, making it known as“Atatamari-no-yu (hot water for warmth)”. In addition, the concentration of the hydrogen ion is a pH of 8.1. The hot water with weak alkalinity is soft, and is good at making the surface layers of one’s skin soft, hence, making it known as “Bihada-no-yu (hot water for beautiful skin)”. Cherry trees that have sprouted from the seeds of the Jindai cherry tree in Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture, which traveled in space with astronaut Koichi Wakata in 2008, were planted in Seki Park on the 6th of April 2019, through the Kibou (Hope) Cherry Blossom Project, which aims to plant cherry trees in municipalities affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake. In Yoshikawa City, the planting of the trees came about as a result of (1) children communicating with astronaut Kanai Yoshishige in space, (2) dispatching staff to Iitate Village in Fukushima Prefecture, which was evacuated after the Great East Japan Earthquake, and (3) passing on the damage caused by Typhoon Kathleen about 70 years ago to future generations. The Sakura Festival is held every March at Seki Park.

With the theme being pork and health, there is delicious gourmet to be found within the park along with a farmer’s market for fresh local vegetables and a natural hot spring for relaxation, making it a theme park where one can enjoy the whole day.
This park, which is unique in the prefecture due to its skateboard and basketball area and its outdoor stage, was made possible after a young man attending the coming-of-age ceremony contacted the mayor of the city. During heavy rains, the park becomes a regulating pond to reduce flooding damage to nearby houses.
With an elevation of 305 meters, this charming little mountain is a familiar symbol of Hidaka City. There is a hiking course that offers a variety of ways to climb the mountain, including a gentle slope for the inexperienced and a rocky slope for the veteran climber. At the top of the mountain is a Japanese Hokyointo Pagoda, and you can enjoy the view of Hidaka City. On a clear day, you can also see the skyscrapers of Shinjuku and the Tokyo Sky Tree looming in the distance.
The main building and the guest house, built from the end of the Edo period to the first half of the Meiji period, are centered around a barn and two storehouses, and the stone walls and white walls facing the street are what create the beautiful scenery of Komago. It was designated as a national tangible cultural property in 2014.
A well-established Japanese sweets shop in Yoshikawa City that has been in business for 60 years. It was relocated to the backside of Yoshikawa Shrine and reopened in 2019. The famous "Namazu Manju" made with homemade red bean paste, which is rare nowadays, is a perfect souvenir. We also recommend the "Namazu Monaka," which allows you to compare the lean and coarse red bean paste and the freshly made dumplings you can enjoy in the store.
In 1187, the Yoshikawa clan reestablished the indigenous deity of Suwa shrine as the guardian deity of the Yoshikawa Shrine. The precincts of the shrine also include a Yasaka Shrine, Furumine Shrine, Inari Shrine, Matsuo Shrine, Yoshikawa Tenmangu Shrine, Suijingu Eight Great Dragons, and Shikatou Daimyojin. The old Shimotsuma Highway runs behind the shrine, and the large bay and camphor trees in the front and back parts of the precincts tell us that this is a shrine with a long history. Every year in July, the Yasaka Festival, which has a history of about 400 years, is held. The highlight is the "mikoshi," portable shrines that are carried and thrown high above the heads of the bearers.
This is a long-established rice cracker shop known for its large signboard. The cute "namazu sembei (rice cracker)" in the shape of a catfish symbolize Yoshikawa, the home of the catfish, and is a popular souvenir. Another favorite, with many repeat customers, is the Yoshikawa Chips, made with 100% Yoshikawa-grown rice flour and deep-fried in a secret recipe of soy sauce and vegetable oil. Both products have been certified as premium brands by Yoshikawa City.
The Kinchakuda park was formed by the zigzagging flow of the Koma River that runs through Hidaka City. Because its shape resembles a money pouch, it has come to be called Kinchakuda (= money pouch). Kichakuda park is a flatland surrounded by a river with a diameter of about 500 meters and a size of about 22 hectares. Flowers such as rape blossoms and cosmos bloom every season, but the highlight is the 5 million red spider lilies that dye the park in crimson colors every autumn.
Located in Naguri/Okumusashi of Saitama, Hakuun-san Torii Kannon is a tourist attraction selected as one of the top 100 best locations in Saitama, covering an area of about 30 hectares. The site is funded privately by Yataro Hiranuma who spent more than 30 years erecting the buildings. In addition to the Kyusei Kannon (Goddess of Salvation) by the top of the mountain, the main hall, Gyokkamon Gate, Niomon Gate, Great Bell Tower, and Heiwa Kannon (Goddess of Mercy), the Genjo Sanzo Tower is famous for enshrining the remains of Genjo Sanzo, a Buddhist priest known to appear in the famous Chinese novel "Journey to the West."
Free rental bicycles are available at the Number 1 Bicycle Parking Lot, only a two-minute walk from the north exit of Yoshikawa Station on the JR Musashino Line. Feel free to use them to explore the city!
Just a minute's walk from the station, the natural hot spring water gushes out from 1500 meters underground and is said to be a sodium chloride strong salt hot spring, which is very gentle on the skin. It is also popular for its medicinal water containing natural herbal medicines. In 2020, a new footbath named "Namazu no Ashiyu (The catfish's footbath)" was opened, and it has become a popular new tourist spot in Yoshikawa City.
Located at the north exit of Yoshikawa Station on the JR Musashino Line, Rappi-Land offers a wide variety of goods and souvenirs related to the city of Yoshikawa, the home of the catfish. There is a wide variety of Japaese sweets such as manjyu, dorayaki, monaka, senbei, and even locally produced cola. You will even be greeted by a real catfish! The shop also serves as a tourist information center, so please stop by when you come to Yoshikawa.
This golden monument of a catfish, a symbol of Yoshikawa City, sits proudly in the middle of the rotary by the south exit of Yoshikawa Station on the JR Musashino Line. It welcomes visitors to Yoshikawa City, which is promoting itself as the "home of the catfish." It was created by Kazumi Murose, a lacquer artist considered to be a "living national treasure," and it was installed on the 9th of May in 1995.
Surrounded by splendid nature, this is a factory where you can build canoes with the local Nishikawa timber. You can also rent canoes so feel free to try them out before building your own. If you're simply looking to have some fun in the river, of course, that is totally fine as well!
Other than natural hot springs, low in alkalinity, said to have effects similar to the so-called "beauty baths", there is a large-scale Ganban’ yoku “Onnetsubō” which can be enjoyed unisex and is very popular! At the Four Seasons Buffet, “Kohansaryō”, vegetables harvested locally based on the four seasons can be tasted while enjoying the view. ※ This is a facility for those older than elementary school. Preschoolers are not allowed to enter.

At the Moominvalley Park in Saitama Prefecture, based on the popular creation, ‘Moomins,’ by Finnish author and artist Tove Jansson, you can immerse yourself in the delightful world of Moomin and its popular characters. The Museum of Modern Art Saitama (MOMAS) opened in 1982 in the greenery rich Kitaurawa Park. From artistic masters from abroad such as Monet, Chagall, Picasso to modern Japanese artists, excellent art pieces are collected and displayed. In addition, special exhibitions with unique themes take place on demand; there are also many "good design" chairs that can be used freely. To further have visitors familiarize themselves with art, there are museum concerts, lectures, as well as workshops which both parents and kids can enjoy. There are also museum shops with selected art books and goods along with a restaurant where authentic Italian food can be tasted, making the museum a place for fun and comfort. Located only a 5-minute walk from Yoshikawaminami Station on the JR Musashino Line. This is the largest park in Yoshikawa City. From Miharashi Hill, you can see the adjacent pond and multipurpose plaza. There is also a playground with a variety of equipment which can be enjoyed by both children and adults.
The Kuroyu hot spring, distinctive to the Kanto area, can be found alongside the bypass of the National Route 4. A wide variety of baths including, hot spring baths that flow directly from the source, jet baths, salt saunas, high-temperature saunas, medicated baths, utaseyu (striking water baths) can be enjoyed here.
